The Archive is a catalog of downloadable historical documents and a repository of educator resources, and is intended to serve educators, students and the general public. The LA History Archive (Archive) is made possible through generous support provided by the Annenberg Foundation and the Candelaria Fund and is sponsored by the Studio for Southern California History, a nonprofit resource center located in Los Angeles' Chinatown. |
The LA History Archive is still under development. It is scheduled for public launch on October 23, 2010 at the LA Archives Bazaar.
The LA History Archive disseminates & collects local history using a three-pronged strategy. |
The Forum: External links to blogs and websites dedicated to Los Angeles history. This Forum provides a place to share history, promote local history events & explore history through an online community. |
